You commented FAST, PAYING, or BEGINNER. Same answer for all three. FAST is who says yes quickest. PAYING is who has the most money on the line. BEGINNER is who to start with when you're broke and new.
The rule underneath all of it: the boring, unsexy niches everyone ignores are where the money is. You want an owner who already feels the pain of a missed call, because a missed call for them is lost money, not a lost email.
| Niche | How fast they say yes | What a job is worth (why a miss hurts) | Good for beginners? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bail bonds | Very fast. Callers desperate at 2am | Whoever picks up gets the client | Yes. Almost nobody competes |
| Towing | Very fast. Stranded people call whoever answers | A missed call is a lost job, same night | Yes |
| Septic | Fast. Nasty, urgent, boring | Recurring and uncontested | Yes. Embarrassing = wide open |
| Junk removal | Fast | Boring, recurring, nobody chasing them | Yes |
| Restoration | Medium. Slower insurance loop | A flooded house is a five-figure job | Yes, with patience |
| Roofing | Fast after a storm | High ticket, can't answer the surge | Yes, seasonal |
| Plumbing / HVAC | Fast. Emergencies don't wait | Solid ticket, constant volume | Yes |
| Locksmith | Fast. Locked out = urgent | Miss = they call the next guy | Yes |
| Dental | Medium. You replace the front desk | Steady, high value per patient | OK, longer sell |
| Legal | Medium | Saves paralegal hours | OK once you have proof |
| Insurance | Medium | Drowning in repetitive calls | OK |
| Med spa | Slow. Wants demos, wants to compare | Good money, three demos before yes | Not first when broke |
| Real estate | Medium, but they haggle | Fast deals, thin loyalty | Not first |
| Solar / Financial | Slow, high ticket | Biggest retainers, least competition | Later, once you can sell |
| Restaurants | Fast, but pay peanuts and needy | High volume, tiny budget | No. Skip them |
| Startups / Enterprise | No. Equity or procurement hell | Not real money for you now | No |
Broke and new: start at the top. Boring, urgent, uncontested, says yes fast. Once you have one client and proof, move down to the bigger-ticket ones (restoration, legal, financial). Do not start at the bottom.
Pick ONE. Not three. One boring niche you can own in one town beats chasing every shiny one.
